On the road again and shop photos!

Covering new ground on the hunt......off to Amsterdam.

    CAN'T WAIT!!!

Having to park a car canal side would definitely add another challenge for me probably resulting in need of a wet suit.

From Amsterdam we will travel south through Belgium where I will be visiting the hard working creative people of this beautiful country.

And then through the north of France to Paris!!  I never get tired of this wonderful city and am always so inspired from my visits.  I will be posting pictures on INSTAGRAM....so sign up to FOLLOW ME (bonnyneiman) you may just see something you want me to hold for you.  Also EMAIL me with your special requests....I can text you photos while I'm there.

A previous find from France....

Can't wait to dine in Paris...

And appreciate their commitment to creating visual feasts...

One of my favorite finds, above, now happy in Northern California.

The shop in Summit, NJ has been very busy with plenty of lamps and chandeliers as you get your homes ready for the entertaining season. Everyone is enjoying the interesting pieces I have had mounted on stands ...

Many clock faces are available $145.00 ea.

A vintage Italian orange vase to the left and antique printers blocks to honor your special someone.

 French antique giltwood finials....

These antique chairs newly covered in citrus green velvet are creating a lot of interest, a steal at $1990.00 for the set.

The vintage metal storage trunk is $545.00 and the metal suitcase above it is on sale for $145.00.  Heavy palette portraits in brilliant colors are  $395.00 ea.

Great patina and hardware on the vintage French painted chest, $1600.00.
The antique giltwood column lamps ($795.00 pair) were uncovered recently after I purchased them last year!  I thought the box they were in was china.....oops!  They are mounted on iron for an updated look....love the combination.

Love the new upholstery on this bench....great conversation piece!

Ripple front wood chest, $1400.00.

With the flourescent lighting in the shop I couldn't capture the rich brown herringbone on these wool mid century chairs just in..love the brass capped legs. $2200.00 for the pair.

Antique architecturals on stands...

Anything lucite is flying out of the shop and the vintage chrome and lucite table above is a great example of how to update your decor, $445.00.   An easy addition placed next to anything traditional.....it doesn't create volume with its "see through" characteristic but creates a little shine. The Thonet chairs are a brilliant green, $895.00 for the pair.   Great patina and hardware on the vintage French painted chest.

Vintage brass chest...$1100.00

One of 2 period Louis Philippe commodes $3550.00 each.   Remember the one I showed you from Sag Harbor for $6600.00.?  Ooolala!  They look great serving as a bar too.  The branch form lamps are new arrivals for $254.00 ea.

Original signed Noguchi table, $1075.00 and vintage white leather chair and ottoman, $1600.00 for the set.

I have included the shop photos because many  of you don't look at my website HERE.  I hear a lot of times the disappointment when items are sold but have been on the website for weeks before they are brought into the shop.  It's worth the visit to the SITE. Many times I post upholstered pieces in their original fabric for much less than after I send them for recovering.  I have many fabrics and can use your choice if you catch it on the site before I bring it in the shop.
I'm anticipating great finds on my upcoming trip and don't forget to sign up to follow me on INSTAGRAM (bonnyneiman)....it's easy! Just add Instagram as an app and go to my username bonnyneiman.

A jaw dropping Lakehouse and new arrivals!!

When I opened this email and saw this picture a reader sent my jaw dropped....I kept the photo and, because life has been so busy right now, I have been looking at it daily and dream of being there.  We went to Idaho once on a tiny plane and enjoyed one of our best family vacations river rafting and "camping" on the banks of the Salmon River. Being so far away without cell phone reception or civilization was a REAL vacation.

Imagine having this place to escape to. On this lake in Idaho a happy couple in their seventies are building their dream house..

To make sure the home would always be theirs they scratched their names in the concrete when the foundation was poured.

 The subcontractors on the job...

Well the homeowner saw this spectacular French doorbell on my site and will hang it there. I found it in France years ago and knew someday someone would have a home worthy.

This is a closeup of the top all hand forged. It's almost 5 feet tall!

The gracious homeowner has invited me to come stay in one of their guest houses..look at the geraniums at the entry!

This cabin is a replica of a miners cabin in the Dean forest in England and serves the couple as a hobby shop and guest quarters. A part of this cabin was made from lumber from their own trees. The water wheel was a birthday gift for this lucky woman from her husband and has a waterfall.  The tower was constructed primarily for fire protection.

What a beautiful place and I will check back with them for more pictures in a few months.

The store has been crazy with things going out as soon as they arrive and I'm so happy with the look right now.  Lucite and anything mid century pairs so well with antiques and really is a great way to update your decor right now. What's trending now is anything lucite, glass and funky.  All the vintage lamps I'm bringing in have been flying and lots of accent tables, mirrors and colored glass small items.

This 19th century corner bench covered in a rippled orange velvet has been a big hit.

A new artisan line of iron tables is available both in silver leaf and gold with hand antiqued mirror, $595.00.  A cocktail table and oval shape coming in soon. Turkish silk and cotton pillows, $125.00

LOVE these ebonized 19th century chairs newly covered in citrus green cut velvet. $1950.00 set of 4.  (a cerused games table coming soon) The pair of vintage lucite ripple lamps on the desk are $975.00 pair. The vintage silver metal trunk, $545.00, has a vintage silver metal suitcase on top to make an awesome side table combo.

A genuine signed Noguchi boomerang cocktail table ($1075.00) sits atop a Brazilian cowhide.  One of many cow hides at the store right now $575.00. I love the antique iron grates with mirrored backs.  Light reflects in ripples as you walk past and the bearded keystone above them is from a theater in Rhode Island adding the essential whimsy to your rooms. Vintage pottery lamp on the chest is a great touch....LOVE the form.

A gleaming campaign style desk holds the many modern lamps available right now.

I'm loving the contrast of the mid century lucite next to the 18th century chest currently on sale for $2400.00.
